Warframe Frame Guide: Gara, Khora and Revenant Rated

Picking a Warframe is never as simple as grabbing whatever looks coolest in the Arsenal. The latest entry in Massively Overpowered's long-running Warframe of Mind frame guide makes that point again, and it also marks a milestone. The columnist is now officially past the halfway mark of the full roster roundup.

This instalment covers three frames that could hardly be more different: Gara, Khora and Revenant. One is a do-everything prism, one is either a generalist or the best farmer in the game depending on how you build her, and one is a wrecking ball that does exactly one thing very well.

Astralis Bench HooXi and jabbi Days After Barcelona Win

Winning a trophy is usually a pretty good way to keep your job. Not at Astralis, apparently.

The Danish Counter-Strike 2 organisation has moved in-game leader Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard to the bench, effective immediately. The benching comes only days after the same lineup brought home the club's first LAN title since December 2019. Sport.ua reported the move first and added that both players are near the end of their contracts.

So the exits are settled. What isn't settled is who comes in. Two names keep coming up in reports: Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, the former Liquid captain, and Ukrainian rifler Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov. Neither signing has been officially confirmed.

Shop Titans Pharoway Caravan Event Adds Inventory Puzzles

Shop Titans has always been about running a shop. Its October update asks players to do something slightly different: pack one.

Kabam's free-to-play crafting and shopkeeping strategy game has introduced the Pharoway Caravan, an event built around a new type of gameplay. Instead of focusing only on what you craft and what you put on the shelves, the event makes you manage inventory as it arrives from a rotating set of caravans. It's a small change of focus, but it could be a refreshing one for a game that has now passed its sixth anniversary.

Hearthstone Journey Journal Arrives October 13

Here's a question nobody asked: how do you actually play a Hearthstone expansion?

Most of us would say you boot the game, open some packs, build a deck and queue up. That's been the routine for years. Blizzard, however, now has a different answer. Starting Tuesday, October 13th, the digital card game is adding a Journey feature. It comes with its own journal, and the idea is to wrap an entire expansion's worth of content into one place.

It sounds like a menu change. It's a bit more than that.

One Hub to Hold It All

Blizzard describes the Journey as a central hub that "brings together story, Journey Quests, rewards, events, and seasonal experiences into a single campaign that unfolds throughout an expansion." In other words, the bits of Hearthstone that used to sit in separate corners of the client are being collected under one roof and lined up into a campaign.

Tree of Savior Adds Smoke-Wielding Officiant Class

Tree of Savior has a new class, and it goes into battle swinging a censer.

That's the short version. The longer version is that IMCGames has added the Officiant to its MMORPG and, at the same time, given the game's archaeology content a major overhaul. One of those two changes is going to grab your attention faster than the other, and it probably isn't the one involving buried relics.

A Caster With a Censer

Let's deal with the name first, because it's hard not to. "Officiant" is not a word you usually find on an MMO class select screen. Massively OP's coverage admitted it hadn't gone digging through the genre's history, but it couldn't think of any other MMO that has used the name before. Unless someone turns up an obscure counterexample, Tree of Savior gets to claim it. It sounds more like the person reading vows at a wedding than someone you'd want backing you up in a dungeon. That's part of the charm.
