Warframe Nights of Naberus Returns for Halloween 2026

Warframe Nights of Naberus Returns for Halloween 2026

Halloween has come back to Warframe.

The Nights of Naberus, the game's annual spooky-season celebration, is live again. It brings new cosmetics, a ghost-punching seasonal alert and the return of a familiar trader in costume. There is also a slight chill in the air, though it's not clear whether that comes from October or from the ice-themed Warframe that arrived in the most recent patch.

That frame came with the Iceblade of Narin update, and its frosty theme makes an odd but fitting neighbour for a festival about ghosts and treats. Either way, Digital Extremes' sci-fi looter shooter is leaning into the season, and the event runs long enough that nobody needs to rush.

Daughter's Treats in the Necralisk

The centre of the event is once again Daughter. She hands out seasonal goodies in exchange for Mother tokens, and you'll find her inside the Necralisk, one of Warframe's social hubs where players gather, trade and pick up activities.

Her shop is the main reason most players will log in. Alongside the inventory she usually stocks for Nights of Naberus, this year adds several new items:

  • New glyphs featuring Voruna and Follie
  • A new landing craft skin
  • A new poster

Glyphs are profile icons that players can show off, and landing craft are the ships that carry your Warframe into missions. Neither one changes how you play, but Warframe's community has always cared a lot about fashion, and limited seasonal cosmetics are often what keep returning players coming back. Veterans who already cleared out Daughter's shop in previous years now have a reason to start farming Mother tokens again.

Ghosts, Punches and a Spooky Trader

The event offers more than shopping. A new seasonal alert asks players to do something refreshingly simple: punch ghosts. Your Warframe has to fight the spectral visitors with its fists, which is a cheerful change from the usual arsenal of oversized guns and elemental abilities.

Ki'Teer is also back, now in his "Scare-o" form, and he has void treasures to trade. They are spooky void treasures, of course, because everything is spooky this month. For newer players, the Void is one of Warframe's long-running mysterious dimensions, and items tied to it tend to be the kind of thing collectors want.

None of this is meant to be terrifying. Warframe's Halloween has always been more playful than scary, and this year doesn't change that. Players are Tenno, the warriors who control the Warframes, and they have faced far worse than a few cartoonish ghosts.

The Nights of Naberus festivities continue until the start of November, which gives everyone about a month to collect tokens, buy the new cosmetics and get through the alert.

Our Take

Seasonal events like this one are a common part of live-service games, and October is always busy. GTA Online's Halloween events run through the whole month, and Fortnite has brought in Five Nights at Freddy's for Fortnitemares. Next to big crossovers like that, Warframe's approach is smaller, and that suggests Digital Extremes sees Nights of Naberus as a comfortable tradition rather than a major marketing push.

That isn't a criticism. A returning event with a handful of new cosmetics and one fresh alert gives players a low-pressure reason to log in between larger updates. Coming right after a new frame, it also helps keep players around a little longer. What's worth watching is whether the Halloween period becomes a launch point for anything bigger before November, or whether this stays a cosy seasonal interlude.
