Stormforge Early Access Launches November 10 on Steam

Stormforge finally has a date.

Roboto Games has confirmed that its multiplayer survival sandbox will enter early access on Steam on Tuesday, November 10th. For a project that has been on the radar since 2024, that is a meaningful step. It is also a sign that the studio thinks the game is ready for a much larger crowd than its testers and demo players.

A survival sandbox with a fantasy pedigree

Stormforge is not a generic crafting game. Roboto Games has drawn heavily on Dungeons & Dragons as a broad influence, and more specifically on The Stormlight Archive, the fantasy novel series. That combination sets it apart in a genre that often defaults to zombies, dinosaurs, or vague post-apocalyptic wastelands.

Throne and Liberty Boosts Drops and Hit Chance in November

Throne and Liberty players have not been shy about telling the developers how the latest update feels. The answer, for a lot of them, is "not great." The team's newest monthly report doesn't argue with that. It reads more like a list of admissions, with a plan attached to each one.

Most of those fixes are bundled into a patch planned for November. One change, aimed at the Vegamor colossus fight, is coming sooner than that.

The Drop Rate Problem

The first issue is the one that touches almost everyone: high-level gear drops. According to the developers, a bug had been affecting how often those items appeared. A patch then brought drops back down to the rates the team had originally intended.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer Blends Roguelite and Multiplayer

Star Wars games have a reputation problem. Not a quality problem, exactly, but a fatigue one.

For plenty of players, the galaxy far, far away has become background noise. There are so many licensed tie-ins that it's easy to let them all slide past. That was roughly the mood Massively OP's columnist brought to Star Wars: Galactic Racer. They admitted that, MMORPGs aside, the last Star Wars games they truly loved were Rogue Squadron and Episode I: Racer, and that IP exhaustion had kept them away from most of what followed.

Then a review copy arrived from developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode. The verdict surprised them.

WoW Forever Class Deep Dive Targets Priests and Warriors

Blizzard is not done explaining how World of Warcraft Forever plans to rework its classes. The studio has published another class deep dive, and this time Priests and Warriors are under the microscope.

The series has a clear purpose. WoW Forever is built on familiar Classic foundations, but Blizzard wants each class to feel different from the version players remember, and ideally better. Every new entry walks through the talents and changes that separate the Forever take from its Classic ancestor. After a recent spotlight on the Undead Paladin, it's clear the team is willing to bend old rules.

Stop Killing Games Warns EU Kids Act Could Wreck Gaming

Nobody wants to argue that kids deserve less protection from predatory game design. That isn't the fight here. The fight is over what happens to everyone else when a law built for children gets written too broadly.

That is the warning the Stop Killing Games movement is sounding this week. Its target is the proposed EU Kids Act, and the language is not subtle. The campaign says the legislation could turn into a "bomb that could implode the whole video games industry." That is a huge claim. But Ross Scott, the movement's best-known voice, is clearly willing to stand behind it.
