Hearthstone Journey Journal Arrives October 13
Here's a question nobody asked: how do you actually play a Hearthstone expansion?
Most of us would say you boot the game, open some packs, build a deck and queue up. That's been the routine for years. Blizzard, however, now has a different answer. Starting Tuesday, October 13th, the digital card game is adding a Journey feature. It comes with its own journal, and the idea is to wrap an entire expansion's worth of content into one place.
It sounds like a menu change. It's a bit more than that.
One Hub to Hold It All
Blizzard describes the Journey as a central hub that "brings together story, Journey Quests, rewards, events, and seasonal experiences into a single campaign that unfolds throughout an expansion." In other words, the bits of Hearthstone that used to sit in separate corners of the client are being collected under one roof and lined up into a campaign.
