EverQuest II Reveals Descent to Val'zyroth Expansion
EverQuest II is heading underground.
Only a few days after the original EverQuest revealed its own 2026 expansion, the sequel has followed with an announcement of its own. The latest producer's letter for EverQuest II, the post in which the team sets out what's coming to the game, confirms that the next expansion is called Descent to Val'zyroth. It's due to arrive at some point later this year.
The timing isn't exactly a shock. Once EverQuest had made its big reveal, it was only a matter of time before its younger sibling did the same. What's more interesting is where this one is taking players, and what it brings along for the ride.
